Woven wire meshes The history of Codina is based on the production of metal meshes, manufacturing woven wire cloth for all kind of industrial processes, metal conveyor belts, finished filters of any size and shape, knitted meshes and demisters. Our singular looms manufacture plain, dutch and twilled weave, in steel, galvanized or stainless steel in their different variants, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper and others. For specific uses, meshes can be made of special alloys, such as refractory steels, Monel, Inconel, etc. The characteristics of the woven wire cloth, like the wire diameter and the mesh opening, or the spirals and rods pitch, as well as the type of material and metallic pattern, determine the applications of the weave according to technical needs. Woven wire meshes are used in numerous applications, such as air filters, silencers, dampers, etc. And in industrial processes that require transport or continuous movement, like in glass and food industry, heat-treating furnaces, drying tunnels, etc.
